Coastal Carolina University

Forty-two awards for student leadership and organizational achievement were presented recently at CCU's annual Student Involvement and Leadership Awards ceremony. 

A total of 975 students participated in Coastal Carolina University's commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 5 at Brooks Stadium.

Coastal Carolina University's Spadoni College of Education has received reaccreditation by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), a professional organization that oversees teacher education. 

CCU junior Olga Tweedy was among 74 undergraduates to be recognized for research achievement at the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) Poster on the Hill (POH) event in Washington, D.C.

The annual Mini Summer Youth Camp is accepting registrations for children, ages 6-12, to attend the creative camp activities held at Coastal Carolina University's Waccamaw Higher Education Center in Litchfield and the Myrtle Beach Education Center. 

Coastal Carolina University presented awards for faculty and staff at the annual Honors Convocation on May 4, in recognition of faculty and staff service to students. 

Visual artist Craig Hill's pop culture paintings and collages will be on view at the Rebecca Randall Bryan Art Gallery from May 17 through June 13 at Coastal Carolina University. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
